This Privacy Policy describes how ToDo Bae ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the ToDo Bae mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
Account information: We use Google sign-in and Firebase Authentication. When you sign in, we may collect basic profile information provided by Google, such as your name, email address, and account identifier.
Task and group information: We store the family groups you create or join, group membership information, and the tasks you create, edit, complete, or delete within those groups.
Google Calendar information: If you choose to connect Google Calendar, the App requests access to Google Calendar only for optional task scheduling features. The App may read your calendar list so you can choose which calendar to use and may create, update, or delete task-related calendar events based on actions you take in the App.
Technical information: We may collect app diagnostics, crash information, device information, and usage events needed to operate, secure, and improve the App.
2. Google API Scopes We Use
ToDo Bae may request the following Google API scopes for its optional Calendar feature:
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events: Used to create, update, and delete calendar events that are directly related to tasks you manage in ToDo Bae.
- https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.calendarlist.readonly: Used to display your available calendars so you can choose where task-related events should be created.
ToDo Bae only requests Calendar access when you use the Calendar integration. The Calendar integration is not required to use the core task management features of the App.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's task management functionality.
- Authenticate your identity and protect your account.
- Sync tasks, family groups, and completion status across devices and group members.
- Provide optional Google Calendar scheduling features that you enable.
- Diagnose issues, prevent abuse, and keep the App reliable and secure.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information or Google user data.
Your tasks, family groups, and completion information are shared only with users who are members of the same family group.
We use service providers, including Google Firebase, to host data, authenticate users, and operate the App. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us.
5. Google User Data Limited Use
ToDo Bae's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, retargeting, credit-worthiness, sale to data brokers, or training generalized artificial intelligence models.
Humans do not read your Google Calendar data unless required for security, legal compliance, or troubleshooting after you have requested support and provided permission.
6. Data Storage and Security
Task and group data is stored using Firebase services. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including Firebase security rules, to help prevent unauthorized access.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We work to protect your information, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account, group, and task information for as long as needed to provide the App unless deletion is requested or required by law.
You may remove tasks, leave groups, disconnect Google Calendar access through your Google Account settings, or contact us through the support email listed in the Google Play Store to request deletion of App data associated with your account.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and post the revised Privacy Policy on this page.
